Sealant High Temperature Resistant Silicone WEICON HT 300 LOCTITE 5398
WEICON HT 300 is red, high-temperature-resistant (+300 °C/+572 °F), free of solvents, strong, and acetoxy-curing. It is resistant to weathering, ageing and chemicals and is extremely elastic (breaking elongation of approx. 300%). The product is particularly suitable for heat-exposed bonds and seals and adheres very well to steel, aluminium, glass, ceramics and many other materials. The adhesive and sealant can be used in industrial furnaces, flue gas systems, heating installations, exhaust gas routing, heating cabinets and in many additional areas.
LOCTITE® SI 5398 is a 1-part, red, flowable industrial acetoxy silicone sealant generally used for sealing applications but also for bonding and for high temperature protection. It is used primarily in heating applications, industrial ovens, household electrical and industrial heating equipment. This product can withstand temperatures up to +300°C. It forms a skin within 8 min of application.
